Fabulous Finds Re-Sale Shop

Donations of gently used items help people in your community find affordable items for their family. We also provide the clients we serve with no-cost vouchers to shop our store for items they may need on their road to success.

Net proceeds of our store go directly into a fund of unrestricted dollars–giving us the necessary resources needed to employ a safety net and fill the gaps of traditional methods. Simply by shopping at our ReSale Shop, you are helping to ensure the most vulnerable individuals and families we serve don’t fall through these preventable funding gaps.

All donations should be dropped off at Fabulous Finds ReSale Shop, not The Homeless Coalition. Please note, we are unable to accept mattresses or box springs.

Volunteer

Volunteers are the backbone of the Homeless Coalition. An Army of more than 400 volunteers contributed to ending homelessness by assisting with meals, cleaning, answering phones, typing, copying, raising money, serving on committees, stocking the pantry, teaching classes, and helping in the resale shop, Fabulous Finds Re-Sale and Unique Boutique.

Volunteers also run classes and group sessions on parenting, budgeting, resume writing, interviewing, job hunting, basic computer skills, and smoking cessation.

Groups

Community, church, and civic groups, such as Beyond Ourselves from Punta Gorda Isles, often coordinate and volunteer as a group on a regular basis. The Homeless Coalition will come out and meet with your group to explain our vision and mission, and describe the various ways in which volunteers help combat homelessness in our community. If your community, church, or civic group is interested in volunteering or hosting a food and hygiene product drive.
