The Homeless Coalition provides immediate financial assistance to get you into housing if you are chronically homeless, a Homeless Veteran or fleeing a Domestic Violence Situation . Case managers will assist you with First, Last and Security Deposits which can get you stable so you can continue the road to success. Short-Term Rental and Utility Assistance is also available to help you and your family return to success.
You can apply for this financial assistance by visiting us at the main administration building or by calling the Homeless Coalition. Once you are screened and meet the criteria for this financial assistance, you will work with a case manager from 12 to 18 months. The Case Manager will make home visits, monitor your progress and connect you with resources you need. There are also Volunteer Housing Specialists that will serve as a liaison between you and your Landlord.
Getting Ahead Classes are provided to clients with this assistance. They include 16 weekly classes on ways to budget, improve your credit score, and how to break the cycle of poverty.
