Charlotte County Homeless Coalition Safe House Emergency Homeless Shelter is a safe, supervised emergency shelter for up to 60-days, quickly moving newly homeless clients from Emergency Shelter back to permanent housing.
In addition to the basics of a bed, linens, hot water shower, towels, laundry and food, the number one service provided is stability. CCHC can always use a helping hand, but if you are not able to give your time, the Shelter always need items.
Each month our food pantry provides three-day supply of food for 500 families and individuals; serving an average of 120 to 130 hot dinners each night and 50 to 60 breakfasts each morning.
The Food Pantry at CCHC is always in need of food.
